Idabeth McDole

Born into a devout Presbyterian home, Idabeth was introduced to the Pentecostal experience by the Pentecostal Church of God and surrendered to a felt call to preach. Her years of service included district and national work with the youth ministries, being principal of Pentecostal Bible Institute, natinal Director of Christian Education, and then Editor of The Pentecostal Messenger.

When asked if she had ever thought about marriage and family, she explained that when she accepted the call to preach, she was engaged to marry. She felt that she could truly please God only by putting the ministry ahead of love and marriage, thus a lifetime of selfless service followed.

While she had limited formal education, she was one of the most brilliant Bible scholars produced by the movement.
